Research Fields: Non-linear optics, micro-nano optics Profile: Cui Guoxin was admitted to the School of Physics, Nankai University, in 1998. After graduating as an undergraduate in 2002, he was sent to the Photonics Center of Physics College, Nankai University, for an accelerated B.S./Ph.D. program. The research direction during his doctoral studies was the application of ferroelectric domain structure in lithium niobate crystals. After finishing his doctorate in December 2007, he entered the Suzhou Institute of Nano-Tech and Nano-Bionics, CAS, in April 2008. His research field at this institute was the development of optical vector-matrix multipliers. Since January 2013, he has been working on the liquid crystal and micro-nano optics research at the College of Modern Engineering and Applied Sciences, Nanjing University. At present, his research field is nonlinear optics and micro-nano optics. He has published many papers on SCI and EI, and he has applied for 7 invention patents, which have been authorized. In addition, he has participated in and taken charge of some major projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, international cooperation projects of the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Innovative Talents “Climbing” Program of Jiangsu Province, and projects of the Natural Science Foundation of Jiangsu Province. |
