Zhejiang University College of Chemical and Biological Engineering Department of Chemical Engineering and Technology Bachelor of Engineering 2003 Professor Ren has engaged in the research and development of material processing technology, new materials and advanced process equipment for many years. He has made considerable achievements in the structural design and preparation of functional polymer materials, high-performance epoxy resins and fiber-reinforced composite materials. He has published more than 20 papers and articles and applied for 15 invention patents as the first inventor. Ren is in charge of research projects sponsored by the National Natural Science Foundation, the National Natural Science Foundation of Jiangsu Province and the Key Technologies R&D Program (Engineering) of Jiangsu Province. He is the laureate of one provincial science and technology award and two municipal science and technology awards and was selected into a municipal expert program. He also serves as the reviewer of several international journals including Polymer, Journal of Polymer Science, Carbon, Langmiur and Polymer International.
