Personal profile:

Professor Zhang earned her Ph.D. degree in Polymer Chemistry and Physics from Fudan University and carried out her postdoctoral research at Harvard University. She is now an associate professor of Nanjing University College of Engineering and Applied Sciences. Her research focuses on the development of flexible energy and electronic devices and their biotechnological applications. She has published over 50 papers at Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., Nature Rev. Mater., Adv. Mater., Adv. Funct. Mater., etc. She authorized 7 invention patents, 2 of which were transferred to industry. The research work was highlighted by Nature, Chemistry World and Angew. Chem. Int. Ed. several times, and has recognized ten awards including IUPAC-Solvay International Award for Young Chemists, Geneva International Invention Gold Award and CPCIF-Clariant Sustainability Youth Innovation Excellence Award.
