Profile:

Guo Shaohua is an associate professor and doctoral supervisor at Nanjing University. He received his doctoral degree from University of Tsukuba and did his post-doctoral study at the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST). He has published over 40 SCI papers as the first author or corresponding author, with a total of more than 2500 citations and 8 ESI highly cited papers, and some of these papers were published in such leading international journals as Angew Chem, Nat. Commun, Adv Mater and Joule. His H-index is 29, and his research and publications are often reported by Natl Sci Rev, Sci Bull, Nature Index, Angew Chem, Joule and so on. He currently takes charge of and participates in many projects entrusted by the National Natural Science Foundation, Natural Science Foundation of Jiangsu Province, and National Key R&D Program of China, as well as some university-enterprise cooperation projects, and he serves as a reviewer of many journals such as Nature Commun, Angew Chem and Adv Energy Mater. His academic honors include being the spokesperson of lithium of Chinese Chemical Society, one of Emerging Investigators 2019 (J Mater Chem A), and Outstanding Impact Award for Chinese Cutting-Edge Technology Figures. He also is selected as the member of a council for Youth Working Committee, and Chinese Materials Research Society and the executive director for Jiangsu Industrial Innovation Alliance of Power and Energy Storage Battery. He has been invited to speak at more than a dozen national conferences such as the National Electrochemistry Conference and the Conference on Chemistry of Energy Materials of the Chinese Chemical Society.
