Fengrui Hu

Fengrui Hu received his B.S. and Ph.D. in physics from Nanjing University in 2011 and 2015, respectively. After serving as a postdoc scientist at Iowa State University, U.S. Department of Energy’s Ames Laboratory, and a research associate at University of Colorado, Boulder, he joined the College of Engineering and Applied Sciences at Nanjing University as an associate professor in 2019.
Research Fields:
Near-field studies of polaritons in 2D materials, including exciton polaritons, plasmon polaritons et al.
Optical properties of nano-semiconductor, such as single photon emission, exciton fine structure, multiple-exciton generation in semiconductor nanocrystals.
Ultrafast spectroscopy studies of carrier dynamics and transportation.
