Betway必威西汉姆联（Betway必威西汉姆联），于2009年12月正式挂牌成立，2011年10月全面启动。学院的宗旨是瞄准现代工学前沿，面向人类和国家对材料、信息、健康和能源等方面的重大需求，通过建设一支具有国际竞争力的教师队伍，开展高水平的科学技术研究，满足现代工程与应用科学领域的高层次人才需求，培养领军人才。

量子电子学与光学工程系招聘的具体方向(不限于)有：
量子光学与信息技术；激光物理与技术；微纳光子学与光子集成；光学传感与光通讯；生物光子技术；光伏与光热技术等。
材料科学与工程系及能源科学与工程系招聘的具体方向(不限于)有：
一、信息功能材料：如光电子材料、非线性光学材料、半导体材料等；二、能源材料：如储能材料、光伏电池等；三、生物医用材料；四、材料工程：如晶体生长技术、界面结构与性质、薄膜和超薄膜制备技术（MBE/MOCVD/SPUTTERRING等）及微纳加工技术；五、计算材料科学、材料基因组计划。

The College invites applications for tenure-track and tenured faculty positions at the level of Associate Professor or Professor. Areas of specific interest include:

Applicant must have earned a PhD degree in Quantum Electronics, Optical Engineering, Nanophotonics or related field, preferably with postdoctoral research experience. The successful candidates will be expected to conduct independent academic work, obtain external funding, and engage in teaching and public service duties.
岗位待遇：
教授、副教授：启动经费200~500万；年薪25-50万，实验室大于80平方米；住房120~140 平方米（以优惠价格购入）。
专职研究员、副研究员：年薪15万起。
Personal and working conditions (depending on qualifications):
Start-up funds: 2 to 5 million RMB; Annual Salary: 250 to 500 k RMB; Lab. Space: more than 80 m2, Housing: 120 to140 m2 (at favorable price).
